What kind of writing do you do?
Website writing, blog and articles, content creation, email and direct mail campaigns, case studies, white papers, press releases, pitches and scripts. I’m also certified in content creation and SEO Copywriting.
What industries have you written for?
After writing for 15 years, there isn’t much I haven’t written about so I can usually hit the ground running. And if I don’t have direct experience with an industry, I’m certainly able to get up to speed quickly. I love doing research on new information (on my own time), and welcome unique assignments.
Are you available for as needed / emergency jobs?
Of course. You can call me at 2am on a Sunday and you’ll have something Monday morning. You’re even welcome to call me New Years Eve for an emergency presentation on Jan 1 (it’s happened). That being said, I’m familiar with the agency model, and appreciate budget and time constraints. “Yesterday” is a legitimate time-frame.
What makes you stand out?
I’ve been in sales and marketing since I was a teenager. If you’ve ever watched an infomercial on household products you’ll have seen the kind of stuff I sold live and through print – Ginsu Knife, ShamWOW, Pocket Fisherman…along with an endless variety of slicers, dicers, mops, brooms, and pots and pans.
Bottom Line: My background in platform sales taught me how to get attention and make a quick impact. That skill is reflected in all my communication.
